A Mighty Moving Force

4 Every God-born person conquers the world’s ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith. The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God.
Main Idea
God is a mighty force in our lives when we follow Christ and believe in the Bible. No matter how insurmountable your obstacle seems now, it is not too big for God. He has given us weapons to wield against the devil when he comes to steal, kill, and destroy the good we have in our lives. Because we fight with God and the weapons he’s given us, we are overcomers! Nothing stands against us when we look to God and use the power of prayer, generosity, and connecting with believers.

Discussion Questions
- Pastor Justin talked about our innate desire to win. No one likes losing. What are some things in your life that you see as wins? How is God showing up in your life and helping you win against struggles and negativity?
- Which of these three weapons (prayer, giving and connection with others) do you feel you may be lacking and need to seek God's guidance to strengthen?
- Hey You're already connecting with other believers by joining this Group! What are some ways you can move forward in your connections? For some Maybe introducing yourself to someone new. Or grabbing coffee or a treat with someone you'd like to get to know better. It could be sharing a life struggle with someone you've been growing closer too and praying together.
Summary
We have access to the mighty force of God in the form of three weapons. Prayer is powerful. We are already set up for victory. When we experience fear, anxiety, illness, depression in our lives pray. Nothing is too big or small to take to God. The battle has already been won and God is the mighty force we need to move forward. Giving is another weapon to use against the enemy. Giving with a faithful and generous heart is something the devil can't come against. The attitude we have when we give is more important that how much we actually give. Using our gifts for the growth of the Kingdom will always move us forward and therefore fight the struggles we face. Connecting with other believers is a weapon. Assembly is not just about being in the same place but it's what we do together. A pile of bricks isn't not a building and an IKEA box of parts isn't a useful piece of furniture. We need action together as an assembly of believers.
