To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen
Scripture refers to the Church as Jesus' bride. Therefore, God is our father and the Church is our loving mother who teaches us and cares for us. The Church is a group of people not a building. Transformation happens in the Church that cannot happen anywhere else. We need to prioritize the Church above all other organizations, invest in the Church, and value the Church. While the Church is not perfect (because it's made of imperfect people), it is the voice for truth and God's plan for humanity. The Church wouldn't still be in existence if God wasn't intimately involved with it and committed to its mission. It's time for us to rally around the Church remembering God made us distinct in who we are and distinct in what we do.
The church is not just a physical building or a group of individuals. It is a community of believers who are called and chosen by God. As believers, it is crucial to embrace the church and recognize its importance in our lives. We should not be indifferent or critical towards the church but instead, stand with it, support it, and contribute to its growth. Despite its imperfections, the church holds immense value in the eyes of God. It is a place where lives are transformed, truth is proclaimed, and the love of God is experienced. Let us remember that we are the church - a powerful force in the world. Together, we can make a difference and shine God's light in a dark world. Let us be proud of our identity as the church and embrace the role we play in God's plan.
