17 Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to them, and to which God has called them. This is my rule in all the churches.
21 Were you a bondservant when called? Do not be concerned about it. (But if you can gain your freedom, avail yourself of the opportunity.) 22 For the one who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is a freed person of the Lord. Likewise the one who was free when called is a bondservant of Christ.
24 So, brothers and sisters, in whatever condition each was called, there let them remain with God.
Have you ever wondered about your calling? It's more than a sense of purpose that leads us down a path for our lives. In fact, we have many callings. One word scripture uses to describe our calling is an assignment. We have an assignment for a place, for time, for a people and for a person.
