First Wednesday: a special evening service on the first Wednesday of every month, 7:00P.
Our services last about 70 minutes and are designed to help you learn more about what it means to follow Jesus. You’ll experience passionate worship and practical, biblical teaching. We value God's presence and center our services around Him.
You’ll be greeted with a warm welcome from our team the moment you arrive. There will be coffee and water available to you in the lobby. During the service, you’ll hear about our Connection Corner, your go-to spot for questions, next steps, and learning more about how to get involved. And we’ll have a gift just for you. We’ve designed the experience with you in mind.
For children under 2, with have a Mother's Room. It's a private room with the service stream available for mothers and their little ones.
Kids 4 months through to 5th grade can attend Velocity Kids, located on the left side of the building!
Velocity Youth is our 6th-12th grade student ministry, and they participate in service in the main auditorium. On Wednesday evenings, they meet for a special time for worship, community, and Bible study.
Come in whatever makes you feel comfortable! Whether it’s jeans, sneakers, or your Sunday best, you’re welcome here.
We hold fast to the core doctrines of the historically orthodox faith. We can't know God exhaustively, but we can know Him accurately. We're unified in the big things, we don't make small things into big things, and we seek to clarify which is which through scripture.
We believe the best hour of your kid’s week can happen at church! At Velocity Kids, we are developing future leaders who are passionately in love with Jesus. Every week, kids will grow more in love with God and His house through worship, interactive lessons, and games in environments that are safe, clean, and fun!
We started Velocity with one thing in mind: to see people's lives changed by the message of Jesus. If you’re new to Lawrence, new to church, or just new to Velocity, we want you to know this: you're not just visiting a service, you're stepping into a community. We believe your best days are ahead, and we'd love to walk through them with you.
