This new Essentials Room off the Connection Corner, has created three brand-new spaces in our church. Our Essentials classes have moved from the wings of the auditorium to this new room. Those wing rooms have now turned into a Team Central space for our teams and a brand new Mothers’ Room for young families.

This room will be used as a small elementary auditorium for Velocity Kids as well as provide a space for New Life Recovery on Mondays, Youth on Wednesdays, small gatherings like YoCo or Legacy Social, Leader Trainings, and more.

Status: Completed
Construction is complete, and furniture is currently being built and installed. This space will support families who are serving across multiple services by providing a dedicated area for their children. It will also function as a flexible space for various events throughout the week.
“When you have children and multiple services, it can make it difficult to ask parents to keep their kiddos here for 3hrs.” We now can offer a special experience for those kids to have fun, learn how to serve at Velocity Kids and give opportunities for teams to grow.”

This ministry has more than doubled their size this year! They are able to now provide childcare for those attending their weekly meetings and will soon have a lobby presence on Sunday mornings to encourage further connection.

It is a safe place for those hurting to experience love and receive the transformative power only found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Team Church Conference is August 4-6, 2025 and we are bringing 24 Velocity Team Members, the largest group we’ve ever taken! We’ve increased our financial support for Team Church and Leading Second. Both of these organizations help to build teams that build the church through events and resources specific to churches and their ministries.

Through our investment, we’ve been able to provide additional resources to our Carepoint in the Dominican Republic, specifically projectors and screens for their facility to better equip them to reach and connect to their kids and families.
